The Kalos Center for Christian Education and Spiritual Formation in Columbus, Ohio is an integrative initiative that aims to address a wide range of human needs and interests—intellectual, moral, psychological, emotional, and physical.

Improving our understanding in all of these areas requires quality teaching. Teaching is at the core of our work just as it was the core of Jesus’ ministry, which addressed every dimension of human need.

The Kalos Center aims to do just this, with classes, special speakers, discussion forums, a podcast, counseling, and personal therapies.

Why “Kalos”? This is a Greek word meaning “beauty.” St. Bonaventure understood beauty as a sort of unified complexity, and that’s what we’re going for here: a complex of teaching ministries aimed at a single goal—to empower and encourage people with Christian truth as it applies to all areas of life. Summing up this vision for the Kalos Center, we aim to fortify souls.

Our mission is to serve the Columbus community and beyond by providing rigorous teaching, spiritual training, and personal therapies.
